Bitty Course vs Teachable
Both host and sell video courses with quizzes, drip and coupons. Teachable is a bigger platform with student mobile apps, upsells and a terabyte of video storage on every plan. Bitty Course is smaller and cheaper, takes no cut on paid plans, and pays you through your own Stripe account.
Choose Bitty Course if
- You sell one course or a handful, mostly video, and want a flat price with no cut of sales.

- You're outside the United States. Bitty Course signs up US creators only for now.

Create a Bitty Course workspace on the Free plan and connect your Stripe account. Nothing is charged until you choose a paid plan or sell on Free.

Download your videos from Teachable, then drop them into a new course. Each file becomes a lesson, and captions are made automatically.

Copy lesson text across, and add worksheets as lesson attachments.

Add your existing students with a CSV import, so they can sign in without paying again.

Publish, point your domain at Bitty Course, and keep Teachable running until your students have moved.
Questions
Is Bitty Course cheaper than Teachable?
For a small course business, usually. Bitty Course Starter is $29 a month ($290 a year) with no cut of sales. Teachable Starter is $39 a month ($29 a month billed yearly) with a 7.5% fee per sale, and Teachable's custom domains start on Builder at $89 a month. Card processing is extra on both.
Does Bitty Course take a fee on sales?
Only on the Free plan, which keeps 10% of each sale. Starter and Plus take nothing. Stripe's card processing fees apply on every plan.
Can I move my students from Teachable?
Yes. Export your students from Teachable and import the CSV into your Bitty Course course. They're enrolled without paying again and sign in with an emailed code.
